Q:Why should I get an estimate?

A: Getting an estimate assures the you are getting the best price. We provide free estimates as a courtesy to our potential customers.

Q. What do you accept for payment on a local?

A. We accept payment at the end of the move in the form of cash, check, visa or MasterCard.

Q. What should we pack, what can G. Metz Moving pack for us?

A. G. Metz Moving can pack everything. If you can pack and don't need our packing services pack room by room so you stay organized.

Q. Is there storage available should the closing dates and move dates not match?

A. Yes. We do have a secured storage facility in which units can be rented at an additional fee. 

Q. When should I call a moving company?

A. The sooner the better. The earlier you want to book your move, the easier it will be for us to organize and accommodate when the time comes.

Q. What happens if there is a delay in my closing? 

A. As long as you call us before 3pm the day before your move you will not be charged a fee for rescheduling.

 Q. Do bureau and dresser draws need to be empty?

A. No you can keep all draws full with clothes and linens. We do ask that you remove any loose items such as jewelry, perfume, cologne and electronics.   No heavy objects like rock collections and books.

Q. What type of truck will be showing up?

A. Our fleet ranges from 20-30ft trucks so we are able to accommodate any size move.

Q. Do you move in the rain and snow?

A. Yes.  We move in all types of weather conditions. There are very few, if any circumstances that would bar us from completing your move.

Q. Do you disassemble furniture?

A. Yes we will take apart beds, tables and other furniture if necessary. We will re-assemble upon arriving at the new location.
