The process:

  • The process starts with a complimentary on-site walk through with one of our long-distance moving experts. He will go over what your move entails, what services we offer that you might need, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. 
  • We will work up a flat rate price guaranteed* not to change for you that includes everything having to do with your move. This includes but is not limited to packing, materials, vehicle transportation, loading and unloading labor, and more. 
  • We work around your schedule! You tell us what day you want your belongings at your new home and we will work the packing and loading days around that. We would send your moving crew out the day (or the 2 days before depending on the size of the job) before the move to pack(if needed) and load the truck. They would either start driving that day or the next day to your new home!
    • Just to give you an example of a time period if we packed and loaded the truck Monday and Tuesday and started driving Wednesday you would be settled in your new home by Friday. This is weather and traffic permitting.

When you are meeting with your long-distance move expert onsite he will take note of the fact you are in need of storage. When we send you your quote it will include what your monthly storage bill will be. 

If storage is needed your quote would reflect the local move in Providence RI and surrounding areas to G Metz Moving and your flat rate price to move it to your new home in a different state.
